Frank Morgan

Director in charge of Fine Art.
His career started as an articled clerk with Russell Baldwin and Bright in the 1960’s. This Company became Brightwells in 2000.



Roger Williams

Head of Fine Art Department, Auctioneer/Valuer - Silver/Furniture.
Roger has been with company for over 30 years. Although he has a broad knowledge of many facets of antiques and fine art his special interests are English Silver and Furniture. Like many of his colleagues he also studied at Southampton.



Geoffrey Crofts

Auctioneer/Valuer - Porcelain/Books.
Joined the Fine Art team in 1972 having qualified at Southampton College of Technology. Geoffrey heads the Book auction Department and oversees the Ceramics Auctions. Geoffrey also handles the specialist Toy Auctions. Entries may be brought to the saleroom for valuation or home visits can be arranged. He also undertakes valuations for insurance, probate and private purposes.



Owain Lloyd

Auctioneer/Valuer - Furniture/Music.
Owain has been a member of the Brightwells Fine Art team for over twenty years and is a member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors. If you require a valuation for auction or other purposes he is very happy to visit you at your home or meet you at the saleroom by appointment.

James Pearn

Auctioneer/Valuer - Pictures/Stamps.
James joined Brightwells in 2003. He trained at Christie’s London after leaving university. He has had over 30 years experience as a specialist Picture Valuer and Auctioneer working both in London and the Provinces. During that time he has worked as Head of the Picture Departments at the West Country auctioneers Lawrence Fine Art of Crewkerne (1985-1990), Christie’s, South Kensington (1991-1993) and Hamptons International (1993-2004).

Caroline Atkinson

General Furnishings, Jewellery and Textiles.
Caroline joined the Brightwells team in 2003, graduating from Southampton Solent University with a BA (Hons) in Fine Arts Valuation in 2006. Caroline runs the General Furnishing and Collectables monthly auctions, is responsible for the cataloguing of the Jewellery and takes a keen interest in the specialist Textile auction. If you require help with General Furnishings, Jewellery or Textiles you can see her by appointment at the saleroom or she can visit you to discuss and collect items at your home.



Toby Service

FNAVA Auctioneer/Valuer - Sporting/Militaria/Automobilia/20th Century/Garden Furniture and Statuary.
Toby joined Brightwells in 2000 and has played an important role in the development of Specialist Auctions which include Sporting and Militaria, 20th Century Design and especially Classic and Vintage Cars and Automobilia. A recent departure was an auction of Kray Twins Memorabilia!

Tom Mence

FNAVA Valuer/Insurance/Sporting/20th Century.
Tom joined Brightwells in 2000 after completing a BA (hons) in Fine Arts Valuation, and an MA in Post War Contemporary Art. As well as having a keen interest in Antiques and Fine Art for which he is able to value for Sale, Insurance, Probate and Private purposes, he also helps run the Sporting and Militaria Sales, and is responsible for cataloguing Ethnic items.

Constance King

Dolls, Toys & Textiles
Constance King is the specialist consultant responsible for the Doll, Toy and Textile sales. She is a world authority on dolls and has written many of the best known and respected publications on antique dolls and toys including the two most comprehensive histories of doll and doll's houses. She can be contacted via the saleroom to make entries for these specialist sales.

Keith Perry

Medals
Keith joined our Militaria team in 2010. He is a member of the Orders and Medals Research Society and has been collecting British war medals for 36 years, culminating with the publication in 2004 of his book on World War One officer casualties at Passchendaele. His other interests include Railwayana and memorabilia to the White Star Line, particularly in relation to the Titanic.

Adrian Simmons

Coins Consultant
Adrian joined our team in 2011 and has been a coin collector and keen metal detector since childhood which gives him a good knowledge of early coins and artefacts.
