BUYING
Payment
1. Cash up to £8000
2. Personal Cheque. If you are unknown to us the cheque
must be cleared before removal of lots.
3. Bankers Draft. Lots may be removed immediately.
4. Credit Card. Items may be removed immediately. Please
note there is a surcharge of 2.5% for the use of this facility on most
major credit cards. American Express is however currently not accepted.
5. Debit & Switch Cards. Items may
be removed immediately. There is no charge for using these cards.
Condition
Reports
may be obtained on catalogued items by telephone or email up to 24 hours
prior to the sale.
Photographs
of items not illustrated in the catalogue may be obtained by post at a
cost of £2 per image or digital images may be emailed at no charge.

Bidding
In
Person
If you would like to bid in person in the Saleroom, you are required to
register for a buyer’s number at our cash office to ensure
confidentiality.
By
Commission
If you are unable to attend the sale, you may leave your bids on
commission over the telephone on 01568 611122 or by completing a
commission form.
By Telephone If you would like to bid
over the telephone with a member of our staff, a limited number of lines
are available but must be booked at least 24 hours before the sale.
Buyer’s
Premium of
17.5 % plus VAT is payable on all lots.
Collection
of goods is only permitted after payment in full within 7 days of the
sale, excluding weekends.
SELLING
If
you would like to sell, items may be brought to the Fine Art Saleroom on
Fridays from 10 am to 3 pm by appointment for valuations and advice on
suitable sales.
House
Visits
may also be arranged for the appraisal of collections, house contents or
larger items.
Payment.
Will be made as soon as possible but certainly within 28 days providing
payment has been received from the Purchaser.
