Sale Content
The Ascot Sale comprises of a mixed selection of Flat, National Hunt, Thoroughbred horses in and out of training, Point-to-Pointers and untried youngstock. All horses are registered with Weatherbys on the general stud book or on the non-thoroughbred register. Sale graduates go onto perform not only in racing spheres, but also compete in other equestrian disciplines, for example, three day eventing, show jumping, polo or riding club and sport activities.
Location
The sale is conducted at the Racecourse Stables, Ascot Racecourse, Ascot, Berkshire, SL5 7JX. A mainline train service from London Waterloo to Ascot runs half hourly (45 minute journey). London’s Heathrow airport is within 30 minutes drive. Local taxi service: 01344 625555.
Accommodation and Catering
There is on site quality hostel accommodation at a cost of £27.00 per person per night. Bar and lounge facilities are available on the evening prior to sale and a full catering service including Hot and cold meals together with snacks will be available from 7.30am on the day of sale.
