Sale of Quality Horses in Training and Point to Pointers
Building on the success of last year’s Cheltenham May Sale, Brightwells are delighted to announce the 2010 sale will be held in conjunction with the ‘Cheltenham Hunter Chase Meeting’. The new date of 5th May will guarantee an audience of prospective purchasers and provide Owners and Trainers with a vibrant market to sell Quality National Hunt Horses in Training and Point to Pointers.
Success for Vendors
- Last years Sale recorded an average price of £15,510.
- A guaranteed audience of buyers at the Hunter Chase Meeting.
- Horses may be ‘Sold as they Stand’ or Subject to Veterinary Examination.
- A late Closing Date
- Wild card Entries will be accepted

Quality winners have already emerged from last year’s sale including:
- The Jigsaw Man purchased for £4,000 and the winner of four races for his new connections including at Cheltenham.
- Chartreux the impressive winner of his first two starts for David Pipe and Roger Brookhouse.
- Mr Robert a £5,000 purchase and the subsequent winner of three races.
- Rebel Rebellion the impressive winner of his bumper at Southwell for Charlie Mann, who considers him his best Bumper horse.
