Meet our team

Joined Brightwells in 1955 to become Joint Managing Director, Head of Equine Dept & Auctioneer.

Joined Brightwells in 2008 as Head of Bloodstock bringing with him a wealth of knowledge and experience. Matt runs the Bloodstock department with high profile sales at both Cheltenham & Ascot Racecourses.

Is a long standing member of the Equine team joining Brightwells in 1992. Andrew is an Auctioneer in the Bloodstock and Equine departments, runs Leominster & Malvern Sales and is also largely responsible for valuations.

Has been a Brightwells Equine team member for 12 years. Richard is an experienced Bloodstock Auctioneer with 27 years experience which started in 1983, and auctioneers at all of Brightwells equine sales. He currently assists in the organisation of Brightwells Sales at Cheltenham & Ascot, heads the Sports Horses & Dressage sales and conducts valuations. Richard is a member of the World Breeding Federation of Sport Horses (WBFSH).

Has been with Brightwells since 2001. Catryn now run the Welsh Pony & Cob Section of the Equine Department and look after the Standardbreds (Pacers & Trotters). With a background in Welsh Ponies & Cobs she enjoys the challenge of cataloguing 1000s of Welsh Ponies and Cobs each year and conducting the Stud Sales on behalf of private stud owners.

Dawn looks after all aspects of the Bloodstock department ranging from organising and running of the sales to managing the Marketing requirements.

Joined the equine team in 2007. Rebecca assists in the management and organisation of the Sports Horse & Dressage section of the Equine Department.
