Catalogues will be available three weeks prior to the Sale. If you would like to purchase one please send £5 (cheques payable to Brightwells) and a note with your name and address requesting the Dressage Catalogue to Brightwells, Horse & Pony Dept., Easters Court, Leominster, Herefordshire HR6 0DE.

Presentations and Trial Rides
Dressage – Presentations will take place the day prior to sale, this will be followed by Trial Rides which are strictly by appointment only. Please click here to download Trial Ride documentation.
Show Jumpers – Presentation of 2 and 3 year olds Loose Jumping and horses under saddle will take place on the day of sale in November and the day prior to sale in August.
Eventers - 3 Year old loose jumping Presentation will take place on the day of sale in December. Ridden Horses will be presented on the day prior to sale.
Tickets
The Auction is a ticket event, and tables can be reserved for VIP seats for either a Three Course Meal or Drinks Service only. Alternatively Grandstand seats can be purchased only on the day of sale.
Payment

Payment must be made by CASH, CARD OR CHEQUE on the day of Sale. (Cheques will only be accepted from regular clients and those who provide a current Bankers Reference). Arrangements can be made for payment by Bank Transfer with our Accounts Department prior to the sale.
For those paying by Credit Card (other than debit and switch cards) a 3% (plus VAT) Bankers Charge will be added to all purchasers’ accounts.
Horses will be sold in Pounds (£) Sterling, in addition a 10% (plus VAT) Buyers Premium will be added to all purchaser’s accounts. If the entry is marked VAT then a further 20% will be added to the hammer price, if it is marked VHR a further 5.1% will be added.
Purchasers will be responsible for paying for the Vetting Fees of £250 plus VAT.
Commissions
Should any Prospective Purchaser be unable to attend the Sale, the Auctioneers will personally be pleased to execute Commissions on their behalf, at no extra charge, lots being obtained as cheaply as other bids allow. In this instance irrevocable methods of payment must be in place before commission instructions are enacted.
Vetting of Horses
All horses have two Full Five Stage Vetting’s for acceptance into the Auction:
1. The First Vetting has been carried out within 28 days prior to the Auction.
2. The Second Vetting takes place whilst stabled at the Auction Centre.
3. Blood has also been taken from all Auction Horses except Foals and Broodmares.
Clearance
All horses must be removed from the sale complex by 12 noon on the day following the sale.
Insurance
Insurance of purchases may be arranged through the auctioneer’s office on the day of sale.

The sales are conducted at Addington Equestrian Centre, Buckingham, MK18 2JR.
