The Hay-on-Wye Breeders Sale is an annual Sale traditionally used by the Hill Breeders to disperse their foals born that year. More recently it has been developed into a Sale of all Sections of the WPCS Stud Book Sections A, B, C, D, & Welsh Part Bred.

Though unofficial it does include a large number of Registered Ponies and Cobs and a Show of Pony Foals is held in the morning prior to the Sale. The Sale takes place in Hay-on-Wye Market in Hay-on-Wye - 'the Town of Books'.
