1959 Hillman Minx

Very pretty series III saloon; original interior; re-sprayed approximately eight years ago; matching engine and chassis numbers

First registered in May 1959, this pretty little saloon shows off what appears to be the original interior after having recorded six previous keepers throughout its life.

We understand that it was resprayed about eight years ago in the original seacrest green that you see today. 985 YUN runs and drives on new crossply tyres and appears pretty solid underneath with a few expected little bubbling areas, as seen in the photographs. Some work on the sills is evident, although it is believed that all other panels are original to the car.

We are advised that the rear offside brake cylinder sticks if parked for a week or so but is easily freed off. Unfortunately there is no other paperwork apart from the current V5C, but it is certainly a great opportunity to acquire a non-smoking good looking series III saloon, whether as part of a larger collection, your first classic or just something to pootle to work and back in.
