2005 BMW M3 Convertible (E46)
Most appealing
later LCI spec SMGII example in silver with Exclusive black Nappa leather and
yellow belts; Bi-xenon lights and CSL style wheels
Supplied new by Sytner BMW of Solihul in June 2005, this later, LCI
(face-lift) E46 generation of M3 comes to in Convertible guise, and is finished
in Titanium Silver with contrasting black Mohair hood and sits on a set of
rather natty 19inch CSL style alloy wheels by Zito, recently refurbished and
finished in Champagne Gold which really make this example stand
out.
Under the bonnet, we find the legendary
3.2 litre S54B32 straight-six petrol engine which develops 338bhp at a whopping
7,900rpm and 365NM of torque at 4,900rpm driving the rear wheels here, via SMG
II six-speed sequential transmission with automatic mode, Paddleshift and
Drivelogic.
Inside the cabin, it has
Exclusive black Nappa leather with electric adjustment and driver’s memory,
yellow seat belts, graphite interior trim, navigation with Bluetooth, automatic
bi-xenon headlights with wash system, three-stage heated seats, digital climate
control with AC, electric folding mirrors, electric windows, electric roof,
multi-function steering wheel recently re-trimmed in black Nappa leather with
yellow centre marker and tri-colour M-stitching, on-board computer, parking
sensors, Harmann Kardon sound system, CD changer, complete tool kit with tyre
inflator and original over mats.
The car shows
just 98,900 miles and presents beautifully. The history file includes the V5C,
owner’s pack and service book recording an impressive 14 stamps (inc. PDI), the
most recent stamp (with supporting invoice) dated October 2021 at 94,161 miles
by Mill Lane Automotive BMW Specialists along with a further stamp for brake
fluid in 2007 and another noting replacement rod bearings by Speeds Performance
authorised workshop at 84,149 miles.
The file
also includes a selection of invoices for parts and works undertaken along with
a couple of old MOTs and the current, valid until November 2023 recording just
