Description
2005 Bentley Continental Flying Spur
Appealing 552Bhp W12 example boasting just 56,000 miles and a
typically luxurious spec including massage seats and rear climate
control
Supplied new by Ribble Valley Bentley of
Lancashire, in October 2005 this handsome Flying Spur is of course, the
four-door saloon version of its Continental GT Coupe cousin, and is finished
here in Silver Tempest, sittingt on its original, imposing 20inch seven-spoke
alloy wheels.
Under the sculpted bonnet, we
find a behemoth of an engine, the 6.0 litre Twin Turbo W12 which develops a
whopping 552bhp and colossal 650NM of torque driving all-four wheels via
six-speed automatic transmission with tiptronic/paddle operation. Performance as a result, is rather
startling to say the least, yet whisper quiet.
Inside the typically luxurious and capacious cabin we find acres of
Magnolia leather with Nautic Blue leather in addition, Burr walnut trim,
electric heated and cooled front seats including massage function, memory and
adjustable lumbar, double-glazing, multi-profile driving from the keys, sat nav,
in-car entertainment with premium sound, multi-zone climate control with AC,
sunroof, Breitling dash clock, electric rear blind, automatic lights,
multi-function steering wheel, Bluetooth, adjustable air suspension with
adjustable ride height, electric folding mirrors, cruise control and electric
windows.
In the rear we find individual massage
function controls for each rear passenger, rear cup holders, embossed rear arm
rest and dual zone rear digital climate control system – what a lovely place to
travel.
The car shows just 56,440 miles which
are backed up by a good history file including the V5C recording eight former
keepers, the owner’s manual and service book revealing 12 stamps (inc. PDI),
almost all by main dealers with the last in July 2019 at 52,707 miles by Project
Three Automotive Ltd an independent Lamborghini, Porsche and Bentley Specialist
which cost 1,250.
In addition, the file also
includes some eight old MOTs plus the current, valid until May 2023 with no
advisories along a spec sheet for the car and few bills for works undertaken
including the last stamped service, and another for replacement parking brake
motors in 2016.
Ready to be enjoyed, this looks
like a colossal amount of lower mileage W12 Bentley speed and luxury for little
money!
Buyers please note the EML light was illuminated as we moved the
car around for these shots and video although the car seemed to run as normal
and was driven to the sale.
