Richard Binnersley

Having been with the company since 1992, Richard has worked in all aspects of vehicle auctioneering and now runs the Vehicle Sales Department. He has bought all his family cars through the auctions, believing it to be the most accurate way to buy cars at their true market value. He has auctioneered for every department at Brightwells and is a company Director.

Steve Powis

Steve has been with the company since the mid 90's and is Sales Manager and Auctioneer for the Vehicle Auction Department. Always on hand to advise on an auction value or to discuss remarketing requirements, Steve has seen in excess of 100,000 vehicles pass through the doors. He aims to give you the best advice possible for buying and selling vehicles and hopes to make your auction experience a successful one.

Alastair Christie

I have been involved in the Motor industry since the beginning of the 80’s. After working at restoring classic cars for a short while, I obtained a job with a large international motor auction house. Starting as a trainee I worked at many of the auction sites gaining knowledge and experience of all aspects of the motor auction business from the “ground up”. Marketing and managing stock for many of the UK’s major companies and working “face to face” with the varied customers and clients the motor trade embodies, the job was often a “baptism of fire” ! 20 odd years of this unique training has lead to the role I now hold for Brightwells Ltd. As a National Account Manager I have the opportunity to meet the many dealers and traders we represent, and offer tailor-made solutions for their vehicle disposals. Brightwells Ltd particularly values the creation of working partnerships with its customers, and I always look forward to helping new and existing customers get the most out of our first class, personal service.

Colin Sinclair

I have worked as National Account Manager for Brightwells Vehicles Department for nearly six years, during which time I have assisted the team with accounts from Pendragon, Sytner, Inchcape, Lookers, Kia UK , Amey, Wessex Group and others, sourcing all types of vehicles for auction disposal. I have also been instrumental in setting up the original Classic Car sales, which have now become nationally acclaimed, and also source HGV and Plant for the Shobdon department auctions. My account clients are based all across the UK including Scotland. My main passion in life is for 1960-1980's classic British GT and sports cars, and having raced various types in the late 60's and early 70's, I now enjoy Classic road cars.

Peter Jones

When it comes to paying the bills, Peter is our man. He looks after the buyers and makes sure all their invoices are right. Peter also organizes all the sellers payments, making sure all the cheques go out from Brightwells on time. He has worked in auctions nearly all his life and understands the processes involved through experience.

Maria Parton

Having been with Brightwells Vehicle Department for nearly ten years, Marie calls hundreds of dealers and sellers every week, looking for cars to sell. She then handles a lot of the paperwork for the cars, when they arrive at the site. She has been known to sell some vehicles on our ‘Buy Now’ list, too, which she takes great delight in.

Adele Fox

Adele works on telesales, ringing both trade sellers and dealing with buyers. She is also responsible for administering sale paperwork for vehicles before they go to auction. Adele has been with Brightwells for a couple of years and has sold her own Land Rover through the auction.
