Richard joined Brightwells from University in 1992, originally employed in the team that was establishing and developing our 4x4 Auction Business. After promotion to Auctioneer and then Associate a couple of years later, Richard later became General Manager of the Vehicle Department in 2001. In 2007, he joined the Board of Directors, with a responsibility of reporting in marketing and IT. In January 2014, he became Joint Managing Director.
Auctioneer & Sales Manager
Steve has been with the company since the mid 90's and is Sales Manager and Auctioneer for the Vehicle Auction Department. Always on hand to advise on an auction value or to discuss remarketing requirements, Steve has seen in excess of 100,000 vehicles pass through the doors. He aims to give you the best advice possible for buying and selling vehicles and hopes to make your auction experience a successful one.
General Manager Vehicle Sales Department
Mark has over 35 years’ experience in the retail motor industry starting in the business as a scrap yard mechanic to becoming Group Operations Manager for a Dealer Group. Mark and his team are available to advise on your remarketing requirements. The whole vehicles sales team strive to make the buying and selling process as seamless as possible.
Becki started her apprenticeship with Brightwells from school and has worked through the ranks to become a junior auctioneer. When not selling on the rostrum, Becki also helps in the provisional office to tie up sales after the auction. She also has a lot of involvement with our monthly leisure sales.
Vehicle Division Account Manager
Dave has over 25 years motor trade knowledge ranging from the workshop to Sales Manager within the main dealer network. He is mainly field based and is responsible for visiting existing dealer accounts and looking for new business within the trade vehicle disposal arena. He is happy to visit any dealer or motor trader at their convenience, to assist in maximising their returns from trade stock and investigate new ways to re-market vehicles.
National Account Manager
Alan has worked in or allied to the automotive industry for over 30 years, initially in retail and more recently providing used vehicle marketing services to dealers nationally. He is field based & responsible for managing existing dealer accounts, while also looking to develop new business opportunities. Alan is happy to visit any business to discuss how we can assist in helping to maximise your returns from trade stock.
Having been with Brightwells Vehicle Department for nearly 20 years, Marie calls hundreds of dealers and sellers every week, looking for cars to sell. She then handles a lot of the paperwork for the cars especially police vehicles, when they arrive at the site.
Having been with the firm for over ten years, James helps with the office paperwork and dealing with customers with bids in provisional sales.
Sorting out bills and payments, Jess looks after buyers and sellers alike from the accounts perspective.
Mechanic / Engineer
Tony has been associated to Brightwells for over thirty years, having attended our first vehicle auctions. He knows most vehicles inside out and helps with condition reporting.
