The sale will blend a wide range of specialist areas - from antique to modern. A new and fresh-looking approach will be given to the format, where vendors items will be marketed and displayed to maximise the prices achieved.
These sales provide buyers with a convenient destination for outfitting the home in a variety of styles, from the traditional to the more contemporary, with items that will appeal to current clients and younger “home makers” alike.
The sale will include quality 20th Century Decorative Arts, Furniture, Silver, Asian Art, Ceramics, Pictures and much more.
The February sale also includes a section of Natural History and Country Sports related items. This is an excellent opportunity for vendors to offer taxidermy, fossils, entomological collections and related antiquarian books and pictures to a growing and fashionable collector’s and interiors market.
Items already consigned include a fabulous taxidermy example of a Blue-fronted Amazon (Amazona aestival) under a glass dome, a finely presented and brightly coloured antique example of this stunning neotropical parrot. Also entered are a collection of highly decorative Sea Shells ready to give any home that maritime feel.
For the Country Sports follower we have received a lovely example of the English gunsmith’s profession in the form of a rare E.J. Churchill boxlock 12 bore shotgun with 30” nitro proofed Damascus barrels.
Take advantage of the extensive pre-sale marketing and consign your items now.
