Brookes Bliss Property Sales & Lettings

Management Buyout at Brightwells  Property

.

Jonathan Bliss, head of Brightwells Property and Joint Managing Directors of Brightwells Ltd., Richard Binnersley and Nick Gorst, are delighted to announce the sale of the Brightwells  Estate Agency and Lettings business, which has been led by Jonathan Bliss for 20 years, to Brookes Bliss. As director of Brookes Bliss, Jonathan commented on the new acquisition:

“This is an outstanding opportunity. Brookes Bliss will specialise in the sale of individual town and country residential properties and manage a large and varied lettings portfolio. My highly experienced team looks forward to helping and supporting old and new clients in what is currently a very buoyant but challenging market place.

With people adjusting their lifestyles and moving to the more rural counties, Herefordshire has become a top destination for buyers, creating a surge in demand for both sales and lettings. We are eager to help our clients take advantage of the current opportunities, which are enhanced by changes in planning laws and low interest rates. Our tailored personal service and dynamic, fresh approach ensures the best possible results for our clients. We are extremely excited by this new venture and look forward to maintaining a productive business relationship with Brightwells.”

Nick Gorst and Richard Binnersley said:

“Brightwells Residential Sales and Lettings is a fantastic business and we are proud of the role it has played in our company. We are delighted that Jon and his team will be the new owners and we wish them every success.”

This sale of the property enterprise will allow us to focus and redeploy resources in our already established departments, such a Rural Professional, Farms and Land and further develop our auctions of Motoring, Vintage, Machinery and Fine Wine.

Our multi-faceted auction business continues to operate as strong as ever through our in-house online portals and we look forward to a post-Covid world with an efficient business that is second to none, operating from our sites in Hereford, Leominster and Madley.”
