Accountant / Accounts Assistant
We are currently recruiting for the roles of Accountant / Accounts Assistant based at our Herefordshire Offices. The focus of the role will be accounting for vendor goods for public sector contracts, updating inventory records, monitoring payments received and payments to vendors and reporting internally and externally on performance of the contract.
The relevant person will have previous accounts / accounting experience and experience of public sector contracts.

Office Manager, Vehicles Department – Brightwells
Location: Easters Court, Leominster HR6 0DE
Reports to: Steve Powis, Department Manager
Brightwells are seeking applications for an Office Manager, based on the following requirements:
- Ensure the smooth running of our busy vehicle auction office
- Oversee and assist with the administration of vehicles for auction
- Contact both buyers and sellers regarding auction entries
- Minimise outstanding customer debts through our Cash Office team
- Work with office and yard teams to prepare vehicles to best effect for sale
- Maximise sundry income streams, through additional services to customers
- An ability to solve problems quickly and with good reasoning
- Maintain Health & Safety standards throughout the department
- Display excellent communication skills

Auctioneer / Valuer (Livestock & Rural Professional Department)
Location: Mid-Wales / Herefordshire borders region
Reports to: Irving Parry, Director and Chairman
Brightwells is a leading provider of auction services, estate agency and chartered surveying, serving customers principally in the UK, but also internationally.
An opportunity has arisen in the Builth Wells office, for an Auctioneer / Valuer to join the busy team working in the Mid-Wales / Herefordshire borders region.
The post would suit a newly qualified agricultural valuer, preferably RICS / CAAV, with an interest in livestock and equine. Rostrum experience would be advantageous, but training can be provided.
Duties will include; running weekly livestock auctions, seasonal sheep sales, professional work incorporating agricultural property valuations for secured lending / compulsory purchase, sales of farms and land and agricultural property lettings.
A clean driving licence is essential.
