NEW VACANCY -

MoD Auctions Operations Administrator

  • Madley Auction Centre, Hereford, HR2 9NH
  • From £25,000 to £30,000 per annum
  • Permanent

About Us:

Brightwells provides auctions required by Collectors, Investors and the Trade for the operation of the selling and remarketing of their valuable collections. We specialise in the delivery of significant financial, quality and bespoke services. Brightwells is privately owned and, having won the sole rights to sell the end-of-life fleet vehicles for the Ministry of Defence, conducts auctions which are nationally and internationally renowned.


Role:

The operations team is a core part of the auction business, made up of various functions -
• To accurately load photographs, reports and descriptions onto sales catalogues using our bespoke management software and Microsoft;
• Staff are responsible for ensuring all processes within the department run efficiently and support the smooth operation of the day-to-day function;
• To provide customer service excellence in support of our sales team;
• Be responsible for maintaining stock lists and preparing monthly audit reports;
• This role is located at our Madley auction centre. This would be a permanent full-time role, Monday to Friday. Hours of work 08.00 - 16.30.


Specific requirements include:

• To have an excellent ability to use a computer and IT equipment;
• Maintaining an accurate stock list of items both prior to auction and post sales on behalf of the company and our vendor;
• To ensure you conduct yourself in calm, polite and courteous manner whilst dealing with customers and team members, by telephone, digitally or face-to-face;
• To ensure the quality of reporting, images and descriptions taken are to the highest standard;
• To support the sales team in the distribution, storage and delivery of items after the auction process has been completed;
• Maintaining a comprehensive digital filing system and email trail for each type of item sold;
• To have a basic knowledge of HSE legislation;
• The ability to drive your own or company vehicles

NEW VACANCY -

Vehicle Workshop Operative

Leominster 

 

 

Full time operative to assist with the preparation of vehicles for auction, mainly the removal of logo’s and livery from fleet vehicles.

Other duties may be required, such as cleaning and washing vehicles, moving vehicles around the site and any other tasks required in the course of preparing vehicles for auction.

Applicants should be able to demonstrate safe working practice in accordance with our Health and Safety requirements, and produce a good standard of work in both quality and time.

You will be in regular contact with members of the public and work alongside our friendly workshop team. This would be a full time role, Monday to Friday. Hours of work 08.30 – 17.00 Mon-Fri.

Role:

The operations team is a core part of the auction business, made up of various functions -

Yard/Workshop teamwork, inspections, photography and reports;

Staff are responsible for ensuring all processes within the department run efficiently and support the smooth operation of the day-to-day function;

Ensuring sales are delivered successfully and operational, and customer service excellence are met at all times;

Responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the Yard/Workshop operation, through stock handling and working within Auction processes and procedures, adhering to HSE requirements at all times.

This role is located at our Madley auction centre. This would be a permanent full-time role, Monday to Friday. Hours of work 08.30 - 16.30 Mon-Fri.

Specific requirements include:

• To arrange and support the organisation, storage and the display of items prior to auction on behalf of the company and vendors

• To assist in the handling and moving of items in order to provide a tidy and orderly appearance in the Yard

• To ensure you conduct yourself in calm, polite and courteous manner whilst dealing with customers and team members, by telephone, digitally or face-to-face

• To ensure the quality of images and descriptions taken are to the highest standard Skills, Knowledge and Experience

• To have a good ability to use a computer, a camera and handheld digital hardware

• To arrange and support the distribution, storage and delivery of items after the auction on behalf of the company and buyers

• To have a basic knowledge of HSE legislation

• The ability to drive your own or company vehicles. Experience of driving machinery would be an advantage
