We typically sell around 70% of vehicles offered and have set world records for prices achieved.

Valuations & reserves
We will arrange for the vehicle to be inspected by one of our specialists who will advise you on it's probable value and on any steps you might reasonably take to maximise your return at auction. This inspection is free and carries no obligation whatsoever. We will also discuss the reserve with you (the price below which the vehicle will not be sold). Reserves are kept confidential but bear in mind that a realistic reserve leads to a low estimate that attracts more bidders – and usually a higher price. If we think your reserve may prevent your vehicle from selling, we will advise you that it is not worth entering into the sale, saving you time and money.
A completed entry form, together with the entry fee, will be required prior to the auction to ensure inclusion in the catalogue.
Classic & Vintage Cars & Motorcycles:
- Entry Fee - £150 for a single car and £50 for a motorcycle - there is a discount for two or more entries. VAT is charged on all our fees, at the prevailing rate.
- Sellers Commissions - 5% for cars or 8% for motorcycles, charged on the value of the hammer price. VAT is charged on all our fees, at the prevailing rate.
- Entry Fee - £50 for a single car or motorcycle - there is a discount for two or more entries. VAT is charged on all our fees, at the prevailing rate.
- Sellers Commissions - 5% for cars or 8% for motorcycles, charged on the value of the hammer price. A minimum of £150 will be charged on each lot sold in this auction. VAT is charged on all our fees, at the prevailing rate.

Transport of your vehicle to the auction can be arranged at extra cost – we will need your vehicle on site at least two days before the sale.
We pay out 14 days after the sale, all funds being held in a secure client account during the intervening period. See our conditions of sale for full information.
We cannot over-emphasise the importance of early consignment of vehicles. The sooner we know your vehicle will be in the sale the more chance we have to promote it – not only on this website but via our advertising and PR campaigns and through our many contacts in the media and the classic vehicle world.
We close the catalogue about four weeks before the date of the sale. Entries after this date are classed as late entries and will not appear in the printed catalogue but are listed separately on a loose leaf insert and are also shown on our website. A late entry does no-one any favours and may have to be turned away if the catalogue is already full. We charge an extra £100+VAT for late entered cars and £30+VAT for late entered motorcycles but this extra amount is refunded to you if the vehicle sells.

This form does not guarantee an entry into the sale and we may still need to physically inspect and photograph the vehicle ourselves prior to accepting and cataloguing it.
