Catalogues will be available about 1 week prior to the Sale. If you would like to apply for one please send £2.00 (Cheques payable to Brightwells) to Brightwells, Horse & Pony Dept., Easters Court, Leominster, Herefordshire HR6 0DE. Alternatively payment can be made through our website using a credit or debit card.
Prospective Purchasers will be required to pre-register at the Sales Office and will be given a buyers number. You will be asked for a form of identification that proves your present name and address such as a driving licence or a recent utility bill.
Viewing of Sale Lots
The Sale site will be open to the public from 11.00am on the sale day.
Payment must be made by CASH, CARD OR CHEQUE on day of Sale. As of January 2018 NO CREDIT CARDS will be accepted as a form of payment at Brightwells Horse, Pony & Saddlery Sales. Cheques will only be accepted from regular clients and those who provide a current Banker's Reference. Money Laundering rules apply at all our auctions and prospective buyers who wish to settle accounts in cash should contact the sales office for details.
Lots will be sold in Pounds (£) Sterling with a 10% plus VAT Buyers Premium,if the entry is marked VAT then a further 20% will be added to the hammer price.
Should any Prospective Purchaser be unable to attend the Sale, the Auctioneers will personally be pleased to execute Commissions on their behalf, at no extra charge, lots being obtained as cheaply as other bids allow. In this instance irrevocable methods of payment must be in place before commission instructions are enacted.
All Private Sales made on the Sale Day must be booked through the Auctioneers.
All lots must be removed from the sale ground by 5.00pm on the day of sale.
Insurance of purchases may be arranged through the auctioneer’s office on the day of sale.
