Think of MV Agusta nowadays and you think of achingly expensive, ultra-quick hyperbikes. This is not one of those.
This 1959 83cc MV Agusta might just represent the least expensive route into the MV Agusta Owners’ Club. It may also be the smallest and the slowest (50mph?). But who cares if it is slow: it’s red, it’s Italian and it’s an MV Agusta. It’s also a four-stroke (never mind the finning on the cylinder head) with a four-speed gearbox giving 4.5bhp at 6,000rpm. This is the one to have: they only got heavier.
The poor little thing has only a NOVA form to accompany it but is, of course, tax and MOT exempt. It's taken nearly 60 years to achieve that patina so it would be a crime to restore it!
