If you get a sense of déjà vu when reading about this bike, don’t worry: you have seen it all before (well, almost).
This 1977 Kawasaki KH100 is the other half of a pair of Californian love-bird bikes offered for sale. Bought as part of a his’n’hers deal in California 40 years ago, this is ‘hers’. It’s a two-stroke single cylinder 100cc commuter model but that doesn’t mean it’s boring (Kawasaki didn’t know how to do boring back then).
It’s probably as close as you will get to a new KH100 and has only 633 warranted miles on the clock. The pernickety person might find some points to criticise but the bike is in better shape than any of us 40 years on.
This Kawasaki was used as ‘showroom dressing’ for a classic car dealership but is being offered for sale due to re-location. Sold with original Californian plate and documents and valid V5C, these bikes have consecutive number plates, which was nice of the DVLA, we think.
