Metalurgia Casal made motorcycles and mopeds in Portugal from 1953 – 2000 and were big on the Iberian Peninsula but little known in this country,
This 1962 50cc Bliss is a typical Casal product and is well-engineered if conventional (although it probably looked pretty exciting to a 16-year old back then) and motivated by a fan-cooled Zundapp two stroke engine.
This example is sound, all up together and the engine turns over. It is believed to have been owned by the Portuguese National Guard (gendarmerie) which makes one wonder how exciting their version of ‘Police Interceptors’ must have been...
Owned by the vendor since 2015 this Casal is offered without paperwork.
