Now looking a little sorry for itself, this 1965 Morris Minor comes with a large history file which shows that it was once a well-loved member of the family, mainly residing in the North Cambridgeshire and Leicestershire area.
The car has had only five owners in total, last changing hands in 2014. It has had extensive work within the last 10 years and the gearbox and differential were replaced in 2001. There are no receipts for this work but the original engine will be included in the sale (twin-engined Minor anyone?).
The car’s last MOT expired in 2012 and it has been indifferently stored since. There is no denying it will need work, but the spares situation for the Minor is impressive, the work is not beyond the scope of the competent amateur, and there are books and DVDs to guide the home restorer. CFL 808C is MOT- and tax-exempt and is offered for sale with no reserve.
