It’s the early 1960s; you’re young, you are riding to work on your Triumph motorcycle and dreaming of Bonnevilles and Honor Blackman from The Avengers… The reality is you are on a 350cc 3TA with bathtub bodywork and you haven’t got a girlfriend. Well, not yet.
Relive your youth with this 1964 Triumph 350, completely original with bathtub back end, centre stand, tank rack and enclosed headlight. All you need to supply is the winkle-pickers and the zits.
The early history of this bike is shrouded in the mists of time, but it has had only four owners since 1980 and, if the speedo is to be believed, has covered fewer than 57,000 miles. The paintwork has that look of authenticity that can’t be faked: could it be original?
Recent work to the bike includes new fork stanchions and bushes, seals, work on the front brakes and replacement points, at a cost of over £300. The bike is up and running and ready to go. Honor Blackman we’re not so sure about.
