Full Description

Only available due to the ill-health of the owner, this 1965 BSA A65 was found as various boxes of bits in a rural location near Stratford-upon-Avon. The plan had been to produce a custom bike in the style of the bikes the owner rode in the 1970s. Sadly, fate has intervened.

The frame has been blasted and powder-coated and fitted with many new parts including shock absorbers, wiring harness, tyres, mudguards, seat and those distinctive ape-hanger bars. The engine was checked over and found to be in good condition.

The bike needs finishing, but the majority of the work has been done and final assembly should be straightforward. There are a number of spares supplied with the bike.

There is a letter from the BSA Owners’ Club and one from Birmingham City Council which will enable the bike to be registered with its allocated age-related number, COP 669C.

Offered here with V5C dating letter and a workshop manual.
