Description
Italy. WW1 ARMATI ALTIPIANI SILVER MEDAL, lacking ribbon.
This decoration was given at the beginning of 1919 to the Italian, French and British officers who were involved in the Piave battle (15-24 June 1918) against Austro-Hungarian troops. The involved British troops were mainly from the 23rd (Northern) Division and 48th (South Midland) Divisions, on the Asiago plateau.
