In Joyce's work '7 Eccles Street' was Leopold Bloom's fictional home. In reality that address was a Georgian three storey house in Dublin that was demolished in April 1967.

'Ernest Groome's lithographs on Ulysees, shown at the Dublin Symposiumin 1977... show (Joyce's) more independently inter-pretative mind' (James Elkins, 'Joyce in Art', p 342 )
