Brightwells report a quieter day for the time of year at Rhayader Market on Tuesday 3rd December with just under 1500 sheep penned with numbers affected by the Winter Fair.

All classes of sheep covered at Builth Market on Friday 15th November with nearly 3000 sheep penned and prime and store lambs and cull and breeding ewes all on offer. A very sharp lamb trade with the magical £80 figure achieved by plenty of 43 and 44kg sheep and a medium weight average of 179.6p/kg.

Brightwells report a flying trade at Builth Wells on Friday 25th October. With medium weight lambs averaging 179.7p/kg and a SQQ average of 175.70 proving that there is no need to travel anywhere else to sell your fat lambs but Builth Wells.
