  1. Unless you have filled out and received a cheque payment account number, you will be required to pay by: Cash, Debit Card or Bankers Draft.
  2. A Card or Cash deposit will be taken from all non-account UK customers. All oversees purchasers will be required to leave a £2000 deposit, which will either be used as part payment for goods purchased or refunded.

Loader attachments & buckets will now be sold at the beginning of ring 2 along with a selection of farm machinery.

Building materials, general waste, plastics, glass, tyres & scrap metal lots can not be accepted into our sale.

Large items such as cabins, artic trailers & large trailers and tanks will be accepted only by prior arrangement and at our discretion.

All light commercial vehicles and vans rated 3.5T & below will be sold at our Leominster site in our weekly commercial vehicle sales and must be delivered there. A link to their pages on our website can be found here

3 1 An Original painting by Peter Horrocks. Earthworks Study in natural earth, pigments on board. 40cm x 40cm. Born in Oldham, Lancashire, Peter studied at Leicester College of Art, Chelsea School of Art and London University.

4 1 Black Swan Sculpture in steamed willow and a small amount of birch by Paul Baines. Paul uses willow and other found materials to make sculpture. The base is oak and is part of the work with steel rods fixed to the base and running up the legs to give it strength. 100cm high by 80cm long. The piece has a limited life if kept outside and slowly returns to nature. Treat the sculpture with teak oil to lengthen its life.

5 1 Heart Sculpture by Rolf Hook
Medium: Burr Myrtle

Rolf is an experienced master of a fine art style with a predominant leaning to the naturalness of the material. His work tends toward the minimalist, creating extremely intensive shapes and expressions.

6 1 Sculptural Bird Bath in Yew by Rolf Hook. 1.5m high including stainless steel tripod as base. Rolf is an experienced master of a fine art style with a predominant leaning to the naturalness of the material. His work tends toward the minimalist, creating extremely intensive shapes and expressions, giving his objects a very specific finish which enriches them with such a high degree of sensuality that the onlooker feels compelled to reach out and touch the object.

7 1 A pet portrait in watercolour by Judy Weir. Judith lives in Titley and resumed water colour painting in 2017 after a 20-year gap. Traditionally a landscape painter, Judith experimented with other subjects and found that she enjoyed painting animals, and after several requests for pet portraits, now offers this service. Judith paints from high resolution photographs. Her repertoire does not include horses

8 1 A Welsh slate bird bath/bowl by Caitriona Cartwright. 55cm x 50 cm x 7 cm approximately. Caitriona searches small, local quarries for pieces of stone that will take letters, to form standing stones, natural bowls and benches as well as use old slate tiles and pebbles to make smaller pieces.

9 1 Wild Boar by Rachel Ricketts in iron/resin with stainless steel inner reinforcements in the legs. Rachel Ricketts RBSA exhibits widely, and her work is held in many prominent private and public collections, both in the UK and overseas. She was awarded RBSA status in 2008.

10 1 A slipped earthenware bowl by James Burnett-Stuart. 26cm wide x 9.5cm high. Thrown and then scalloped by hand while still soft. It is made by Stuart at Lower Hergest, about 1 mile from Hergest Croft. The white slip is over the earthenware clay. The glaze gives it the creamy colour. It is meant for salad, fruit etc.

This sublime Bordeaux wine was produced in St. Emilion that year and wine of this age is difficult if not impossible to find. 1998 is acknowledged to be one of the finest vintages in recent times. 18 1 Acer micranthum is a small maple propagated from the plant by the entrance to Hergest Croft Gardens which was collected by the Banks family in 1980 on Mount Horai near Kyoto in Japan. It is notable for its spectacular autumn colour and red twigs in winter. Kindly donated by the Banks family.

19 1 Tilia ‘Hergest Silver’ is a chance seedling of unknown origin with silver undersides to its leaves which blow in the wind. It is probably a selection of Tilia tomentosa, the silver lime but is much more spectacular – it has been mistaken for a Davidia (Pocket Handkerchief tree) at a distance. Hergest Silver is a provisional name. Kindly donated by the Banks family.

20 1 Magnolia ‘Lucy’ is a hybrid of Magnolia ‘Purple Breeze’ and Magnolia ‘Anne Rosse’ made by Vicomte Phillipe de Spoelberch in Belgium. It has very large pink flowers in March. Phillipe has named his hybrids after his grandchildren and we are following this tradition. Kindly donated by the Banks family.
