Property Description

BROILER SHEDS
The original sheds numbering 13 are arranged in a parallel line. The oldest of these sheds at the northern end of the line, numbering 6 in total. These are believed to date from the late 1970’s. The remaining 7 are approximately early 1980’s.

All these sheds are approximately 82.3m (270’ x 12.2m (40’)with an internal growing space of 948m2 (10,200 sq ft)
They are timber framed with concrete block dwarf walls and timber elevations under corrugated iron roofs. The sheds all have windows, side ventilation and gable end fans.

Throughout the site, the automated system is climatic. Feeders are Roxell Mini-max and the drinkers are Lubing.

The two modern sheds built circa 2002/ 2003 sit behind the original sheds. These sheds are larger with a GIA of 1,555m2 (16,731 sq ft) and 1,755m2 (18,883 sq ft). Both are 19.69m wide (60’), the longer one is 97.5m (320’) and the other one 85.3m (280’). They are steel portal framed, clear span sheds with box profile and timber elevations, with insulated metal roofs comprising roof vents and side fans. The site is currently farming between 325,000—350,000 birds per crop.

DIRECTIONS
Proceed south of Hereford on the Ross Road, through Redhill onto the A49.  After approximately 1.5 miles take a right turning at the Renault car garage towards Grafton Lane, Haywood and Callow.  Proceed up the hill turning right at the T-junction. Pass the first left hand turn and proceed for another 200 metres before turning left down a tarmacked road. The site is then found on the right.
