Situation and Description The Brambles is situated on a small country lane, on the fringe of the popular west Herefordshire village of Burghill. The property stands in its own beautifully tended gardens, that surround the house, and includes parking to the front for a couple of vehicles. The gardens sweep around the property and are well-stocked and well-tended with large lawn areas, a good-sized seating area and a range of excellent outbuildings, ideal for home office or workshop use. An added bonus is a gateway that leads to the upper part of the gardens, which can be utilised as occasional party parking, if required! All of which enjoys rural views across undulating countryside to the rear.
Internally, this delightful cottage has been subject to a recent updating programme. The property now benefits from a newly fitted kitchen with integrated dishwasher, new flooring to most of the rooms, a brand new shower room on the first floor, new front and back doors as well as fitted wood burning stoves in both reception rooms with Hetas Certificates.
The accommodation comprises a hallway that leads through to the main sitting room with French doors overlooking the rear garden and a central fireplace housing a wood burner. At the front of the cottage is a more intimate snug, again with wood burning stove. The recently fitted kitchen/breakfast room lies to the opposite side of the house, again with French doors overlooking the rear garden. To the front there is a useful utility room and cloakroom. On the first floor there are four bedrooms, all complimented by the newly fitted family shower room.
