The land is reported to have provided inspiration to Jimmy Page and Robert Plant of Led Zeppelin to write ‘Bron yr Aur Stomp’ when, in 1970, the group stayed in the cottage in the centre of the land known as Bron yr Aur (Bron y Aur cottage is not included within the sale). Part of the land which is also known as Bron y Aur translates in English to ‘breast of gold’ reflecting the scenic and inspirational countryside the property sits within.

Lot 1 —76.76 acres—Guide Price £220,000
76.76 acres / 31.06 hectares (or thereabouts) intersected by the A493 highway with c.17 acres situated north of the highway lying at 10-75m above sea level laid to permanent pasture with an area of broadleaf woodland.

The remaining c.60 acres is situated south of the highway adjoining the River Dyfi providing grazing for livestock and part being suitable for the conservation of fodder.

Lot 2 — 190.57 acres—Guide Price £375,000
A substantial area of land extending to 190.57 acres / 77.12 hectares (or thereabouts).
The soil type is classified as being a freely draining acidic loam over rock with the majority laid to permanent pasture with some areas of woodland and scrub.

The land lies at 145m-265m above sea level used for the grazing of livestock.
