1992 Subaru 284 BRAT

One of the best examples of this collectable 4x4 you will ever find; showing only 48,000 miles; comprehensively recorded history since new; always serviced by the same garage; only two previously recorded keepers

First dispatched in 1992 to Subaru dealers, Kings of Barrow, in Suffolk, this magnificent ‘Bi-Drive Recreational All-terrain Transporter’ was initially bought by a lady in Woodbridge. We understand it then remained on the same estate for almost its entire life until our vendor recently acquired it. The name on the logbook changed a couple of times during this period, but we believe always within the same estate.
Within the file, there is a comprehensive printed history of the car, from its early fitting of a tow bar in 1993 (now removed), every service up to 2007 (by the same garage), an MOT every single year up to 2021 and records of some minor welding made to both outer sills in 2018. Now showing only 48,000 miles, this Subaru is surely one of the best cared for examples available on the market today.
Popularity in these little trucklets have risen in recent years and bearing in mind their original intended use, they are becoming harder and harder to find in such good condition. This one is presented with new tyres all round, a handy Ifor Williams rear canopy, has all its original handbooks, the very helpful tool set and apart from a few minor scratches here and there, the paintwork gleams as it should.
