2005 Renault Sport Clio 182
Tidy and pokey
Noughties Hot Hatch with 182bhp showing 108,237 miles by its 3 owners -
Lots of fun!
Supplied new in May 2005, this
face-lift RenaultSport Clio 182 is finished in desirable Arctic Blue and sits on
its original 16-inch 8-spoke alloy wheels finished in grey and the sporty twin
exit exhaust.
Inside, we see well bolstered
figure hugging half suede seats, cruise control, Xenon headlights, CD player and
digital climate control with A/C.
Under the
bonnet lay the revised 2.0 litre F4R 738 engine which develops 182 PS (180Bhp),
a 10bhp increase over its predecessor through various improvements fitment of a
new 4-2-1 manifold with high-flow cat.
Power is put down through the front-wheels via manual transmission giving
exciting performance with superb handling characteristics giving the Clio RS a
loyal, cult following and fan base.
The car
presents well, looking almost unmarked, shining brightly and running well as we
moved it around for these shots and videos. The car sounds like it has a sportier
exhaust than standard adding to the fruitiness and appeal. The history file includes the V5C
showing just three former keepers to the current, our vendor, the owner’s
pack and service book revealing nine stamps, the last at 108,030 miles in
May 2020 by R. P Motor Services which is but a few miles ago, the car currently
showing 108,237 miles. Furthermore,
we see 1 old MOT certificate from 2020 and the current valid until June 2022
showing no advisories.
Ready to be enjoyed
immediately with great investment potential the car should reward in both fun
factor and economic gain.
