1967 MGB GT
A very smart example imported from
dry state America many years ago; a very straight early three-synchro car;
aluminium bonnet; Webasto and wires
This Primrose Yellow BGT
comes with a BMIHT letter of origin stating the car was manufactured in March
1967. The letter is dated November 1997, the time it was imported from an
Amerian dry state according to the vendor.
He has owned the car for some
years, running it only occassionally. The car starts and runs
nicely, the brakes, although working, will need some recommissioning
through lack of use.
As one would expect of a dry-state car, the bodywork
is very sound and it has clearly been loved for a long time. It has a
Webasto sunroof and retains lots of original features including the
steering wheel.
There is little else in the file (as is so often the case
with American imports), but the car can be taken on face value as a nice genuine
example. These early MkIs are so much nicer in detail than the later cars, and
are few and far between, especially in such solid order.
An MGB is easy
to convert to RHD should the new owner so desire, or simply use as is and enjoy
some Continental motoring in 2022...
