1963 Hillman Super Minx Convertible

Purchased in 2019 specifically to smarten up and restore, but due to time restraints, it is up for sale again; only three recorded previous keepers; desirable transferable number and showing an impressive low mileage that is believed to be correct

Like the previous lot, this Hillman has been known by the vendor since the early 1990s.

Listing five owners since at least 1978 (our vendor knowing at least two of them), one might be fairly confident that the mileage is correct at the impressive 41,469 miles. The general order of the vehicle and contents of the history file also help to give one confidence that this is right. At the time of writing the file only contains the current and old logbook along with some old MOTs, although the vendor has advised us that there is a big bundle of other paperwork which he hopes to get to us after the auction.

The Minx has been dry stored for some considerable time, but we are told does run and drive - she apparently ‘purrs’ like the proverbial kitten…

The body is in very presentable order with no obvious signs of serious rot and the interior just looks lovely. Unfortunately, the hood has suffered a little over the years, but who needs a roof anyway!

Again, this car has a very desirable looking number plate which is transferable so bear this in mind with your bidding.
