Dating from September 1998 this 100
series Toyota Land Cruiser Amazon GX is finished in Black and sits upon its
original five-spoke 16” alloy wheels shod with chunky Michelin tyres and looks
very smart indeed.
Under the bonnet sits a
4.2-litre 1HD-FTE turbo-diesel six-cylinder engine which develops 201bhp and
430NM of torque driving all-four wheels via automatic transmission offering
enough performance for its size and considerable towing and/or offroad
ability.
Inside the cabin, we find seating for
five, plus additional fold down seats in the boot making a total of seven seats
if needed. The interior is grey
cloth and both spacious and comfortable showing little, if any signs of age or
wear. In addition, we find walnut
trim, two-stage heated front seats, electric windows, manually adjustable front
seats with electric lumbar adjustment for the driver, electric folding mirrors,
Power Heater button, cruise control, original radio/cassette CD (changer)
player, electric aerial, rear heating/blower control, AC, diff-lock knob and
hi/low ratio box plus cup holders front and rear.
