Description
A most appealing car requiring some modest TLC; running within
the last two months
First registered on 15th October 1949, this
rather nice 400 came into Brian's hands in 1995, although a note written
on its folder also suggests it had been in his hands before -
back in the 1960s.
Originally Connaught Green with black wings, it
is registered CGS 185, a number on the DVLA system and comes with an old
style V5.
A note from a Mr Ball, a previous owner states he acquired it
in 1962 from a Mr Fuggle from Bushey in Herts. He in turn sold it to
Brian (for the first time) shortly after who then passed it to Faud Majzub. He
also adds that its original owner was a 'Lady somebody' from
Scotland.
There are a few tax discs dating from the early
1960s.
It is a particularly appealing example and is bodily sound and the
engine has been run by the May family within the last few months. The interior
needs some love, but overall it is a great project and would respond very well
to a few days hard cleaning....
