Registered in December 2016 for the 2017 Caterham Academy race series, after the 2017 season it was then upgraded to 'road sport' spec for the 2018 season.

Dressed in Elger Grey with orange stripe, fitted with a Caterham-tuned Ford Sigma 1.6-litre engine producing 125Bhp and 150NM of torque, which coupled with a platform weighing just 550kg gives an impressive power to weight ratio of 227Hp per ton.

Fully equipped and ready to race, this Caterham comes fitted with: VBox Lite twin camera system and GPS data logger; Race Logic display; Apollo 13” alloy wheels wearing a set of Avon ZZS 185/55 R13 tyres; quick release steering wheel; fire extinguisher; full weather gear; keyless start; power cut-off switch; race aero screen and 6-point Schroth race harness.

Unused for the last two years, we are told a new gearbox was fitted by Caterham at 2,888 miles.

Also included in the sale are the headlights, two spare Elger Grey rear arches, a spare windscreen (unfortunately the glass is cracked), and two weatherproof side doors.

Starting promptly, running and driving nicely on site, everything is here to put this Caterham back on the road, use for track days or in the Caterham Academy race series.
