all its life
Originally supplied and
maintained from Auto Palace of Llandrindod Wells in June of 1969. The current
owner was a mechanic at the same garage who knows the car wel. He had the
fortunate opportunity of purchasing the car after the original first owner
passed away in 1988.
Later on in the cars life, a
full bare metal respray was carried out (loads of photos were taken during the
restoration which come with the car), since then a little bit of paint reaction
on the top of one of the wings has appeared (not rust) and corrosion on the
front edge of the bonnet (vendor has a new bonnet available to be discussed
after the auction along with a large amount of other spares bumpers grills
radiators and electrical spare to many to list).
The car starts and
drives and was driven over 45 miles to the sale with no issues. Only 37,306
miles showing and two owners from new with the engine never being taken
apart, this must make this Elf one of the most original low mileage cars for
sale today.
