Mercedes-Benz 560 SEL auto – LWB; 5,547cc V8; very rare and desirable Lorinser
RS90 alloy wheels; Currently showing 134,128 miles; 25 stamps, beginning with 15
main dealer services; driven to site over 50 miles
A highly specified 560 SEL Long Wheelbase, showing 10 former keepers
and finished in Metallic Nautic Blue with a full blue leather interior. First
registered in March 1990, the car's Pre-Delivery Inspection was carried out at
the Piccadilly Showrooms of Mercedes-Benz's Diplomatic/Tourist
Department.
Powered by the 5,547cc V8 petrol
engine with four-speed automatic transmission, the car is accompanied by its
original service booklet, including the build data card and a separate
explanation of the option codes. The service booklet contains an impressive 25
stamps, beginning with 15 main dealer services before subsequent servicing by
independent specialists, with receipts accompanying the specialist entries and
documenting the work carried out. A further selection of receipts for
non-service items is also included.
The history
is further supported by MOT records dating back to 2002. The car is fitted with
the very rare and desirable Lorinser RS90 alloy wheels, which, combined with the
long-wheelbase specification and big V8, make for an impressive and relaxed
long-distance cruiser.
Currently showing 134,128
miles, the Mercedes does have some age- and mileage-related marks together with
areas where surface rust is beginning to show through, although these do not
detract from its overall appearance.
Driven over
50 miles to our site, the 560 SEL started, drove and stopped as expected for
photography and a short video.
