Dating from 1984, this Camaro
is powered by the 5,000cc petrol engine with automatic transmission and is
finished in red, having originally been yellow before being repainted in October
1999. Imported into the UK in 1991, it was first registered here in December of
that year and has had 11 former keepers, with the current owner acquiring it in
August 2016.
The car has benefitted from
considerable expenditure over the years, including the fitting of a new
Rochester Quadrajet carburettor and what appears to have been a comprehensive
restoration, with invoices showing expenditure of £5,210. The work has resulted
in a striking example of this popular American
classic.
The vendor advises that the
Camaro starts, runs and stops as you would expect and it was driven on site for
photography and filming.
