ever-popular MGB Roadster, powered by the familiar 1,798cc four-cylinder engine
paired with a four-speed manual gearbox featuring overdrive.
First registered in June 1975, this MGB has had nine former keepers
and has been in the current ownership since November 2022. Originally finished
in blue, the car was repainted in dark purple in February 1994, giving it a
distinctive appearance.
The speedometer currently
displays 80,662 miles, although the mileage cannot be verified. The accompanying
history includes five old MOT certificates and a small selection of
invoices.
The car presents with a few age- and
mileage-related marks around the bodywork, although these do not detract from
its overall appearance. It was starting, driving and stopping as expected while
on site for photography and video.
