1989 Bentley Mulsanne S
Ex-Lanesborough Hotel
and 1 of only 61 long-wheel base examples built; always appears to have been in
good hands; most recently used for relaxing weekend trips away
First
registered in August 1989, the car you see here is a LWB Mulsanne S, making
it one of only 61 manufactured in this format. This particular car was purchased
new from HR Owen by the Lanesborough Hotel in Knightsbridge. Always impeccably
maintained, it has no fewer than 17 service stamps up to 108,741 miles in
September 2008 with many supporting invoices.
Sold by Brightwells twice
in the last five years, we are familiar with the car and have sold it to two
very happy private customers. When we first sold it in 2015, it had been owned
since 2011 and had relatively recently had new rear brake pads and discs done
and a new distributor fitted. In the past it had also had had the power steering
rack replaced and the front shock absorbers.
Maintained fastidiously in
its early life and well into the 2000s, the current vendor has very much enjoyed
taking it on weekend jollies and although there are no recent major bills, it
currently holds an MOT from August this year, done at 117,466 miles, which has
only some wheel bearing advisories. Now, 45 miles later, it has come up for sale
again.
It looks to us like a very presentable and useable
luxury car at a most affordable price. Local weekend trips, a long drive to
your European ski holiday (well, as soon as you can!) or just an excuse for
fantastic comfort. The choice is yours.

- Put in your highest bid you would be prepared to go to.
- Bidding at the last moment may leave you disappointed. Any earlier bid is always taken first, so doing this may only push someone else up and prevent you from becoming the highest bidder.
- No bids can be placed once the time remaining ends, therefore do not delay.
