1994 Mercedes-Benz SL280
An exceptional example with just 22,000 miles from new; metallic silver with blue leather; just 4,000 miles over the last 14 years; driven to the sale; from a deceased estate
This 1994 SL280 was acquired by the previous owner in 2005 with around 19,000 miles on the clock. He used it for a few months before being badgered into selling it to his General Manager, who was to keep the car for high days and holidays.
During the next 15 years, a mere 3,000 miles were added, the car being kept in a modern garage when not in use. He put his private plate on the car (L60 RLL) which is also included in the sale along with a car cover in the boot.
Prior to his ownership, it had regular servicing with eight stamps plus a PDI. The car remains in the condition one would expect of a 22,000 mile car and was driven to the sale some 30 miles.
The only blemishes on a otherwise very sunny landscape are the non working electric drivers seat, a problem with the driver's window mechanism and some cracking to the tyres - all issues put down to lack of recent use. It could also do with a new sound insulation pad under the bonnet.
With those items attended to, its new owner will own one of the finest R129s in the country.

- Put in your highest bid you would be prepared to go to.
- Bidding at the last moment may leave you disappointed. Any earlier bid is always taken first, so doing this may only push someone else up and prevent you from becoming the highest bidder.
- No bids can be placed once the time remaining ends, therefore do not delay.
