Supplied new in September 2000 by Park West BMW to its sole owner this smart E46 generation 3-series coupe comes to us in 323CI SE guise, featuring BMW's excellent 2.5 litre straight-six developing (in 323 form) 168bhp driven here, through the desirable 5-speed manual transmission - and of course, rear-wheel drive.

Finished in Titan Silver with contrasting full black leather interior and Piano black trim to the dash and doors, the car still looks good today, belying its age and mileage.  On the inside, we see electric driver and passenger seats with driver's memory, BMW Business radio/cassette and CD changer, digital climate control, rear parking sensors, electric windows, cruise control, on-board computer and switchable traction control.  Outside the car rides on 7-spoke 16inch 'original equipment' alloy wheels shod with a good set of Pirelli tyres.

Within the history file, there is the V5C, owner's pack and service book showing nine entries, the first 5 stamps all by main dealers, the last entry in 2012 at 124,059 miles. 3 further historic stamps are present, 2 for brake fluid changes and 1 for coolant. In addition, we find an old MOT, current MOT running until July 2021 without advisory and a selection of invoices which include a service receipt from 2015 at 140,176 miles, handbrake adjustment and replacement bulbs in July 2019, pair of tyres in 2017, a £652 estimate for repair to the OSF wing and sill from April 2013 and another invoice for the last stamped service in 2010 which included a replacement shocker, ARB link and brake fluid change at a cost of £569.

One owner cars generally look like one owner cars without signs of heavy use and a higher level of care and this looks to be no exception. A good, manual E46 six-pot coupe will always have a demand and always be fun.  Its no surprise the track day and drift boys hunt out good solid manual coupes with no sunroof such as this for conversion into track day toys.
