2007 Subaru Impreza WRX

Cool 3rd gen Impreza in WRX 227bhp guise, pre-facelift example from lady ownership in largely stock spec; engine rebuilt in October '17

Supplied new in November 2007 by Bell & Colvill (Horsley) Ltd to its first owner, this 3rd generation Impreza comes in 227bhp WRX guise with 5-speed manual transmission and of course, all-wheel drive. Inside we find sculpted figure hugging sports seats in cloth, electric windows, mirrrors, cruise control and climate control with AC, trip computer and radio/CD player with twin cup holders. In addition, it looks like the car has been fitted with a bigger bore sports exhaust which certainly sounds good and looks the business showing off that famous Subaru Boxer engine warble beautifully.

Within the history file we find the V5C showing four previous owners to our current, a lady who has enjoyed her tenure and 10,000 miles of use along with the owner's pack and service book showing 8 service stamps, the last stamped at 86,500 miles in July 2019 by main dealer Redstone Subaru of Ruthin. Furthermore, there is one stamp for the first year body inspection in 2010 by Tiley of Bristol and two stamps for the vehicle registration card by Bell & Colvill and paper PDI form ahead of its delivery to its first owner.

In addition, a host of invoices on file show regular maintenance including a full engine rebuild  including crankshaft and conrod set with new gaskets and clutch kit costing a whopping £3,913.20 in October 2017 at 75,579 miles by Automark. New Mintex brake pads were supplied in August 2020 with new ARB bush clamps and bolts purchased in July 2020.  The most recent stamped service is also documented at a cost of £348. Redstone Subaru also carried out a visual health check in July 2020 at 90,078 miles with few observations, boding well and we find 5 old MOTs in addition to the current ticket, valid until July 2021 with no advisories recorded. We note but a few marks to the bodywork and the wheels would likely benefit from a refurb.
