Dating from March 2008, this smart, and subtly aggressive Audi S5 hails from the B8 generation of A5 and is finished in Phantom black with matching gloss black twin-blade 5-spoke inch 19-alloy wheels with additional after market Maxton Design sill extenders, rear diffuser and carbon affect Audi badge to the front on the blackened grill.

Under the bonnet, we find the powerful 4.2 litre FSI CAU V8 lump which produces (when stock) 350bhp driving all-four wheels Audi’s trademark and rally proven Quattro system and Torsen-based centre diff system giving excellent all-weather performance despite its mammoth 440Nm of torque resulting in very exciting performance, especially when mated to the 6-speed manual transmission as with this example.

Inside, we find the beautiful and deeply sculpted S5 embossed leather seats in light grey with electric adjustment including lumbar and driver memory, Audi’s excellent MMI (multi-media interface) sound system with CD changer including navigation piped through Bang & Olufsen speakers (immense!), electronic handbrake, electric windows, mirrors, Xenon lights, on-board computer, cruise control, multi-function steering wheel, digital dual zone climate control with AC and carbon trim.

Showing 97,696 miles, the car presents well with a good supporting history including V5C showing 9 former keepers, owner’s pack with duplicate service book revealing 8 stamps plus 3 hand written entries, the most recent stamped service being in May 2021 at 96,595 miles by SCM remaps of Llanelli with several by Audi main dealers including the previous in 2020 at 88,031 miles.
