1973 Volkswagen Beetle Convertible
No
Reserve
Older convertible conversion; running and driving,
from a deceased estate and not used for some time; easy project to
recommission
'Happy' has enjoyed an active life...starting out as a
standard 1303 saloon that left the factory in November 1972. At this point it
was painted Pastel white with black leatherette upholstery according to the
factory certificate on file.
Some considerable time later,
it had an after-market roof-chop as you can see, which appears to have
been well executed, although we don't know when this took place.
It comes
to us from a deceased estate, the car having entered the family's ownership
in 1999. It has been much loved, but little used of late, the most recent MOT
expiring back in 2017. Since then, it has been in dry storage.
Now back
up and running, we have been driving it around onsite and it has started readily
and the brakes have pulled it up well. It would however benefit from a good
service and light recommissioning having done so little over the last five
years.
As you can see, the hood could do with a new cover and there is
some tidying to be done here and there, but it is essentially a solid Beetle
looking for a new home. On offer at No Reserve, the best bid buys the
car...

- Put in your highest bid you would be prepared to go to.
- Bidding at the last moment may leave you disappointed. Any earlier bid is always taken first, so doing this may only push someone else up and prevent you from becoming the highest bidder.
- No bids can be placed once the time remaining ends, therefore do not delay.
