Appealing example with cream leather boasting just 43,236 miles with desirable removable factory hard-top; suject to recent £2,000 spend by the vendor inc. new clutch kit

Dating from July 2004 this tidy and appealing Ford StreetKa is finished in a rare to find ‘Envy Green’ Metallic (believed to be the last one in this colour combination remaining in the UK) with factory removable body-coloured hard top with black Mohair hood underneath and sits upon its original six-spoke alloy wheels. It was driven to us from Penzance by its enthusiast owner.

A ‘Luxury’ spec car including the removable factory hard-top as mentioned, parchment leather, air conditioning, heated seats and remote central locking in addition to the standard spec which extends to electric windows, mirrors, Ford Racing aluminium gear knob, ABS, power-steering, heated mirrors and radio/CD player.

Under the bonnet, we find the zesty 1.6-litre eight-valve Duratec four-cylinder petrol engine which develops 94bhp and drives the front wheels via five-speed manual transmission.

The car has covered just 43,000 miles in the hands of our vendor and the six former keepers recorded on the V5C.  In addition, the history file includes the owner’s pack, original sales brochure, photos of the car on its adventures around Cornwall and a selection of invoices including a recent spend by our vendors equalling some £2,000 to bring the car up to par including a de-scale and waxoil of the underside, new coil packs and leads, major service, some welding in June 2022 plus new LH and RH lower arms, and bushes, coil spring, V-belt in June 2021. A new 3-peice clutch kit and fuel pump module including sender were also fitted ahead of the other works listed in May 2021.

The car started and ran like it should as we moved it around for these images, clearly the result of money well spent by our vendors who for many years had a collection of seven StreetKas, this being the one they wanted to keep, but a change in circumstances has forced the sale of their last one, affectionately known as “Grace”.

Grace comes with a recent MOT valid until June 2023 recording four advisories (enter the reg at check-mot.service.gov.uk) and is ready to be enjoyed. The new owner is fortunate that the major works look to have been done at considerable expense so they can enjoy this low mileage example in the rare and desirable colour combination with the Luxury pack and hard-top (which is valuable on its own).
