1999 Land Rover Discovery V8
50th
Anniversary edition with just 39 ,000 miles; investment grade Disco; lovely
order
The 50th Anniversary Disco was given all the bells and
whistles, forming part of a range of upgraded Land Rovers built to celebrate 50
years of the marque.
The Discovery 50th was fitted with a/c, not so
discrete 50th Anniversary badges, Lightstone leather interior including drop
down occasional seats in the back, premier stereo, alloys, heated front screen,
drinks holder and roof rails (rare cross bars included).
Imported from
Japan in 2017, it has had a couple of former keepers in the UK, our vendor
acquiring it about a year ago. Still showing just 39,000 miles, it has had
£1,198 spent on an MOT, new track rod ends, a swivel repair kit and four-wheel
alignment.
A minor cold starting issue was rectified with a replacement
ECU and all is as it should be, the car driving to us for the sale. It comes
with its full book pack, in Japanese of course.
In very clean condition
above and below, it has not suffered the usual Discovery rot and presents very
well. It carries an MOT until July 2023 with a few minor advisories where were
attended to at the time of its last MOT, covered in the invoice referenced
above.
An investment-grade Discovery, it must be one of the nicest, low
mileage examples around.
