Auction of Marine Craft on behalf of the Environment Agency

Important information -
• This is a trade auction only. No bids should be made by any bidder in their capacity as a consumer.
• Buyers registered for our live bidding pages can use the same login details
• Buyers will need to pay a deposit of £5,000 to take part in the auction, refundable if you do not purchase
• By registering for this sale you are confirming to us that you have access to suitable facilities & means by which you will remove and restore these craft where necessary
• Failure to provide proof of a removal plan at the close of the sale will result in the voiding of the sale, loss of your deposit and we will offer the craft to the under bidder(s)
• As our vendor is keen to stress the importance of a timely collection schedule, we must ask that your invoice is paid in full and we will additionally hold the £5,000 deposit until such time that the craft has been transported to new moorings or removed from the water
• All lots are sold as seen and without guarantee
• Hammer Prices will have VAT added to them at 20%
• All Lots are subject to Buyers Premium of 15% + VAT with a minimum charge of £2,000 + VAT per lot
• Successful bidders will be emailed invoices immediately after the sale has ended and have 24 hours to arrange payment to avoid any items being resold and the deposit being lost
• Buyers must liaise with us after the sale to arrange collection, lots purchased must be cleared within 2 weeks of the end of the auction
• An additional 2 weeks can be requested in the event that the removal plan cannot be adhered to, subject to vendor approval. If the craft has not been removed within 2 weeks of the end of auction, or 4 weeks of the end of the auction with vendor agreement, the sale will be voided, your deposit will be lost and we will offer the craft to the under bidders(s)
• Strict Health & Safety rules will apply to the loading of all items at any site and as such a detailed lifting plan must be submitted and any lifting equipment, cranes and operators must be certified and provide evidence of this prior to loading
• Bidding finishes at the time specified in time remaining, don't bid at the last minute - put in your highest bid now
• All measurements shown in the descriptions are indicative and purchasers must confirm

Bidding Tips:
• Please enter your maximum bid early as leaving it until the last seconds may end in disappointment.
• Bids cannot be withdrawn at any time, during or after the auction. All bids are contractually binding. Winning bidders will be emailed on the next working day after the auction. The Auctioneers may withdraw Lots at any time (see 3.2 Condition of Sale). If you are the successful bidder on one or more than one lot that is sold to you, provisionally or outright, the bids are binding and you cannot withdraw any bids - you will be liable for all lots sold to you.
• Items in this auction are all sold as seen and without warranty. There is no guarantee of condition, working condition or description. No items have been tried or tested for sale. Volumes, where stated are approximate and are not guaranteed.
Viewing:
• Please note the two different locations of these craft.
• Viewing is by appointment only, on the specified viewing days (16th & 17th March at Caversham & Sunbury, respectively).
• Bidders who wish to attend the viewing days must book in with the auctioneers in plenty of time and adhere to the following strict health & safety conditions: Safety boots or shoes, life jackets & high visibility jackets must be worn on all sites.
